Pixar released new art today to preview the new short film that will be shown before screenings of Finding Dory in June.

The short film will feature an adorable bird named Piper, who is seen in the art looking at a bubble on a beach. “Everything’s beachy keen!” the studio wrote on Facebook.

Piper comes from the mind of veteran Pixar animator Alan Barillaro, who came up with the idea while running along a beach near Pixar’s Emeryville, California headquarters.

“It’s always fun to show a world we’re familiar with but from a different perspective,” Barillaro told Entertainment Weekly. “We’ve all been to the beach, but have we ever viewed water from just an inch off the sand? That could be very fearful from a bird’s perspective.”

Finding Dory and Piper hit theaters on June 17. The short features music from King Crimson singer Adrian Belew.
