He’s played some iconic characters, and the title role from the Indiana Jones film is certainly one of them.
The fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series is in the works and Harrison Ford has agreed to reprise the roll. Owned by Disney since their acquisition of Lucasfilm, Indiana Jones 5 will be directed by Steven Spielberg.
Harrison Ford told Jimmy Kimmel that he’s excited to play the character again and work again with Spielberg. He revealed no secrets about the film, though, joking that he hasn’t even seen the script. As is common with some of Ford’s late night appearances, he maintained a lighthearted attitude throughout the spot. He even pretended to forget Spielberg’s last name.
He’s ready to crack the whip again, so Spielberg better get cracking.
