The first teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them dropped during the MTV Movie Awards, taking us back to the Wizarding World J.K. Rowling created in her Harry Potter novels.

Set seven decades before Harry Potter stopped Lord Voldemort, Fantastic Beasts stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, who heads to America and will later write a textbook Hogwarts students read in class. This first teaser makes sure viewers get the Harry Potter connection, as John Williams’ original theme swells at the end.

The script is Rowling’s first original screenplay with the film directed by David Yates, who also directed the last four Harry Potter movies. The rest of the cast includes Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Jon Voight, Samantha Morton and Colin Farrell.

Audiences get to take another step into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter when Warner Bros. releases Fantastic Beasts in theaters on November 18.
