As I’m typing this, there are fifteen more minutes until the midnight (PST) release of the latest Netflix/Marvel TV series: The Defenders. This is the culmination of the five seasons of four standalone series that separately showcased the protagonists of this one show. My anticipation mirrors that of me standing in line at the concession stand waiting for 2012’s Avengers to begin. Or how I’ll probably be waiting through the trailers of DC’s Justice League this November.

I’m going to review each of the individual eight episodes as I watch. I really hope this goes better than when I tried it with Iron Fist which only caused a whole deal of confusion and frustration. Anyway, let the binge watching begin…

Spoiler Warning: I don’t plan on giving away every major plot detail, but I’m adding the disclaimer in case there are minor slip-ups.
