Daisy Ridley, sporting a hairstyle uncannily similar to her Star Wars character’s, dished to MTV’s Josh Horowitz on the Oscars Red Carpet about what we can expect from Star Wars: Episode VIII and in particular from the as-yet silent Luke Skywalker:

“It’s such a good story! Seriously!” Ridley gushed. “Luke is so cool in this one. Really.”

Sounds like, as expected, we’ll be escorted into the future Luke has carved out for himself after losing touch with his family and just how Rey fits into that now. Is there a familial connection between them? What are his thoughts on Kylo Ren, and does he plan to do anything about it? Does he wonder how the hell his father’s lightsaber has reared its head once again? Has he been dying to go pick up some power converters?

All that remains to be seen. Meanwhile filming for Episode VIII began earlier this month with Ridley (Rey) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) picking right up where they left off–atop the peak on that mysterious secluded island. However this time around they’re under the direction of Rian Johnson, taking over for JJ Abrams.

“When we went back to Skellig to do the opening of [Episode] VIII, it was so crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people,” added Ridley.
