The question on every Marvel fans lips at the moment is “are you Team Cap or Team Iron Man?” However, Avengers actor Chris Hemsworth is asking a different question: “where the hell is Thor?”

It’s a fair point – what is a punch-up between heroes without one of the toughest around? The same goes for the Hulk, who will also sit this one out. See what Hemsworth has to say on the subject in this hilarious video, posted on the official Russo Brothers Facebook page:

While casually showing off his strength, the Australian actor jokingly complains that the movie is “so pathetic” because it doesn’t feature “the big boys” of the Avengers team. “Where was the invite for me and Hulk,” he says. “Is this one for the kids, is it? Where the kids just have a scrap on their own, and we just sit on the sidelines?”

Don’t worry, Thor fans, it isn’t because he isn’t worthy anymore, as the actor proves when he calls his faithful hammer, Mjolnir, to him (cue some great sound effects from Hemsworth).

Of course, the actual reason that Thor and Hulk aren’t around for Civil War is because they are about to star together in Thor: Ragnarok, which will apparently see the mismatched Avengers team up for a sort of galactic road movie. Expect that movie to arrive in November 2017.

Captain America: Civil War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and starring just about everyone else in the MCU apart from Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, lands in cinemas on April 29th in the UK and May 6th in the US.
