Tired of having your ass handed to you in the Souls series? Too bad, chances are if you’re a big enough Souls fan, this will be on your masochistic radar.
On Twitter, game designer Eric Lang (XCOM: The Board Game, Warhammer: Invasion) revealed his new tabletop game, codenamed ‘Project Dream.’ What is this ‘Project Dream,’ you ask? A licensed Bloodborne card game based on the game’s Chalice Dungeons.
For those who follow me and have gotten to know my silly codenames for games-in-progress, this is Project Dream. pic.twitter.com/fqoKqJwCQx

It will be a “highly deep and interactive” card game involving “risk management with a bit of groupthink, inventory management/upgrades and tactical play in an intense 30 minute card game.” Lang wrote his intentions are to pit players against each other in contest, by channeling “the intensity and frustration” of Bloodborne.
Unfortunately, he didn’t give any details as to when the game can be expected to hit shelves. However, you can still get your punishment fix when Dark Souls 3 launches March 24 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
