Another TV spot for Captain America: Civil War has been released, and it’s packed with plenty of new footage. The highlight of the 30 second spot, which you can see below, is a clash between Captain America and Black Panther.

In addition to that, there’s also a few new lines from different characters. The spot really forces home the levity of the conflict, and tries to show how far apart these two sides are. With Batman v Superman‘s match up plummeting at the box office, it’s likely Marvel will really try to push the nature of the divide in the coming weeks.

Sadly there was no new footage of Spider-Man included, he’s likely to be saved for the film now. We did get some nice character moments, with Sam Wilson seemingly calling out Tony Stark. Hopefully we get plenty of that in the film, as each character really should get their own reasons for being part of this conflict. No one wants to see these heroes just blindly lining up behind Iron Man or Cap, they need to have strong opinions themselves to raise the stakes.

But, it’s the main clash in the spot that will grab most attention. That fact that Black Panther doesn’t just match Steve Rodgers, but he seems to be overpowering him. Seeing just how powerful he is, along with the source of his powers, is another reason to be excited for this film.

What did you make of this latest TV spot? This is the fifth we’ve seen for the film so far, with plenty of time still to go. Are you hoping Marvel keep new footage to a minimum going forward? No one wants to get bombarded with clips and spots like they did for Avengers: Age of Ultron last year.
