SEGA will now publish Atlus USA games, including the upcoming Persona 5.

According to Game Informer, fans of the publisher should not worry, noting that the popular brand isn’t going anywhere and will still be visible on games.

Both companies will continue to operate independently, but publishing is in the hands of SEGA to further streamline the process

What does this mean? This means we probably will see both SEGA and Atlus branding on Persona 5 when it is released.

SEGA acquired Atlus back in 2013 with the purchase of it’s parent company Index Corporation.

A statement was shortly released after the acquisition, stating that the “relationship will be mutually beneficial for both sides.”

Persona 5 is set to be released later in 2016
