Each season of Game of Thrones comes with a new set of characters, twists and heart-breaking moments. Season 6 was no exception. Here, we count down 11 of the biggest moments we experienced this time around.
11. We Learn Melisandre’s True Appearance
The shocking revelation that Melisandre isn’t quite how she appears came at the end of the very first episode of the season. This was something none of us saw coming, and by season’s end, still has us mystified. We’re none the wiser about Melisandre’s exact age, but now that we know she uses some kind of glamour to alter her appearance, it’s difficult to look at her in quite the same way.
